Meet the Ideonic team. Here is a little insight in to the people working hard at Ideonic. We came up with some questions about us, but if you want to ask anything else just get in touch. There will be some real pictures added soon.

Jeremiah Alexander

Ideas Architect/Director

1. Whats your Job?
   Ideas Architect/Director – I would say I have three core responsibilities: finding the best people, finding new opportunities and building the vision (hence the Ideas Architect title).
2. If you were an animal, which would you be and why?
   A Wolf – but not the Big Bad one.
3. My top three favourite games are…
   Legend of Zelda (all of them), Street Fighter (most of them), Young Finance Manager
4. Who inspires you and why?
   I can’t narrow it down to one specific person; I find that everybody has some inspirational qualities and I try to pick and copy the best ones. However, so not to totally avoid the question, here are a few names of people I think are inspirational (in no particular order): Bill Gates,  Shigeru Miyamoto, Jay-Z, Tony Robbins, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jesus… I can add loads more later.
5. What motivates you at work?
   Progress – I’m motivated by progress, I love setting myself challenges and when i see myself getting closer towards my goals my motivation increases – it’s quite a useful iteration really.
6. Your favourite part of the office and why?
   The beanbags, because they are so much more comfortable than my chair and they are next to the Wii

Cora Stone

Digital Artisan

1. Whats your Job?
   Digital Artisan – I have the responsibility of producing 2D/3D art work (mainly using Flash, Photoshop, and 3Ds Max), attending workshops and.. oh, looking after the goldfish in the office.
2. If you were an animal, which would you be and why?
   Cat – because I’m secretly a crazy cat lady!
3. My top three favourite games are…
   Final Fantasy (all of them), Tekken (i prefer Tekken 3) and Carlot Kingpin.
4. Who inspires you and why?
   At the moment i find with inspirational qualities in Michael Jordan (great sportsman yet modest), David Attenborough (his passion and appreciation of planet Earth), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Barack Obama… I’ll add some more later
5. What motivates you at work?
   Seeing the results – seeing people playing on the games we make. I really enjoy listening to the feedback, and look at ways i can improve for next time.
6. Your favourite part of the office and why?
   The Goldfish! They have been with us for a long time and they are still alive. I think they deserve some respect! I also like the ‘ambition killed the cat’ wall sticker – a cat dangling on cables with lots of birds on it. It’s just amusing to look at.

Adam Gatenby

User Experience Engineer

1. Whats your Job?
   User Experience Engineer – That’s my official job title. My main role is to ensure Ideonic’s projects have a great user experience. I have quite a mixed range of skills, but generally i’m do a lot of programming and development with Flex, Flash, and various other languages and platforms.
2. If you were an animal, which would you be and why?
   A Hump Back Whale – Because i could do stuff like this!
3. My top three favourite games are…
   Super Mario (all), Shemue (both), Tetris (classic!)
4. Who inspires you and why?
   The world is full of inspirational people, so it’s hard to narrow it down. Richard Branson, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates for all they have achieved. I also take inspiration from different people i meet week to week.
5. What motivates you at work?
   Creating great games and learning resources and seeing their impact on peoples learning and understanding.
6. Your favourite part of the office and why?
   Our new shelves / bookcase. It’s full of memories, technology, life (Plants and Goldfish), and everyone has a cube which they have personalised in their own personal and interesting way.
